Carol Woolton - Fashion for Jewels

Carol Woolton - Fashion for Jewels

Vogue Jewellery Editor, Carol Woolton, came to Pendragon with a need for content to support the release of her Prestel published book: 'Fashion For Jewels'.

Fashion and jewellery have a synergy that has been built over the last 100 years. Carol’s aim was to engage 2 separate audiences simultaneously - the ‘trend-setters’ and those who may not yet understand the relationship.

To explore the interaction between jewellery and fashion, talking to the current trend setters at the forefront of the industry was a must.

By approaching the best in the business, THEO FENNEL, SOLANGE AZAGURY-PARTRIDGE, STEPHEN WEBSTER and OSMAN YOUSEFZADA, a new dimension was added to the film, taking it beyond a promotional feature.

The final cut incorporates a playful interplay between Solange (Jewellery Designer) and Osman (Fashion Designer) with an interview with Carol Woolton, the book's author.

Shooting with 5D production values, the project satisfied the desired quality and feel of the original brief.

To maximize the potential of the film, we also created a consistent look and feel through Carol’s web presence and social feeds.  The site’s overhaul has stimulated interest and the content seeding has resulted in an upsurge of readership of the blog, where people are delighted to be able to follow Carol’s jewellery life.
